Piping Stress Analysis (CAESAR II) Workshop

Overview

Introduction

This 5-day intensive workshop provides participants with practical, hands-on experience in piping stress analysis and flexibility design using CAESAR II software. The program focuses on system modeling, code compliance, and evaluation of stresses caused by pressure, temperature, and dynamic loads. Participants will learn how to interpret analysis results, design optimal supports, and troubleshoot stress-related issues to ensure piping system integrity and safety in industrial operations.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this training course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand key principles of piping stress and flexibility analysis.
  • Model and analyze piping systems using CAESAR II.
  • Apply ASME B31.1 and B31.3 design codes.
  • Identify and mitigate stress, vibration, and flexibility issues.
  • Interpret CAESAR II reports and optimize system performance.

Main Modules

  1. Fundamentals of Piping Stress and Flexibility Analysis
  2. Introduction to ASME B31 Codes and Design Requirements
  3. CAESAR II Interface, Modeling, and Load Cases
