Process Design Fundamentals - Module 1

Overview

Introduction

This course provides a structured introduction to the fundamental principles of process design for engineers working in oil & gas, petrochemicals, chemicals, power, and industrial facilities. Participants will understand the building blocks of process engineering: process calculations, thermodynamics, material & energy balances, process flow diagrams, basic equipment design, and safety considerations in design.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this training course, the participants will be able to:

• Understand core principles of process design

• Perform material & energy balance calculations

• Interpret PFDs and basic engineering documents

• Apply thermodynamics in process calculations

• Understand equipment design fundamentals
